Vire Run records your runs on your device and syncs them to your own iCloud account. We do not run servers, and we do not collect analytics, advertising, or tracking data.
Vire Run asks for Location — While Using the App so it can record your route, pace, and speed during a run. Location sampling continues with the screen off only while a session is active. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings; without it, run recording is disabled.
All data is stored on your device. Workouts and routes also sync to your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit, so they appear on your other devices signed into the same Apple ID. We do not operate any servers, and we cannot access your data.
Vire Run keeps a diagnostic log on your device to help troubleshoot bugs. Nothing from this log is shared automatically. If you run into a problem, you can choose to send the log to the developer manually from within the app — and only then does it leave your device.
The only third party involved is Apple — iCloud for cross-device sync, MapKit for map rendering, StoreKit for subscriptions, and the App Store for distribution. These are governed by Apple's privacy policy. Vire Run does not use any analytics, advertising, or other third-party SDKs.
Subscriptions, when offered, are purchased and managed through Apple's App Store. Vire Run does not receive or store your payment details; Apple handles the transaction.
Vire Run is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
