Privacy Policy for Vire RunLast updated: April 20, 2026Vire Run records your runs on your device and syncs them to your own iCloud account. We do not run servers, and we do not collect analytics, advertising, or tracking data.Information We Process

Location data — latitude, longitude, timestamp, accuracy, and speed, captured only while a run is active. Recording continues with the screen off so we can track your full route and pace.

Workout data — duration, route, timestamps, and program progress for completed sessions and free runs.

App preferences — units (metric/imperial), audio coaching toggle, selected program, and similar settings stored on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

No name, email, phone number, or account creation

No advertising identifiers or tracking

No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting sent off device

No contacts, photos, microphone, or health data

PermissionsVire Run asks for Location — While Using the App so it can record your route, pace, and speed during a run. Location sampling continues with the screen off only while a session is active. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings; without it, run recording is disabled.Where Your Data Is StoredAll data is stored on your device. Workouts and routes also sync to your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit, so they appear on your other devices signed into the same Apple ID. We do not operate any servers, and we cannot access your data.Diagnostic LogVire Run keeps a diagnostic log on your device to help troubleshoot bugs. Nothing from this log is shared automatically. If you run into a problem, you can choose to send the log to the developer manually from within the app — and only then does it leave your device.Third-Party ServicesThe only third party involved is Apple — iCloud for cross-device sync, MapKit for map rendering, StoreKit for subscriptions, and the App Store for distribution. These are governed by Apple's privacy policy. Vire Run does not use any analytics, advertising, or other third-party SDKs.Subscriptions & PaymentSubscriptions, when offered, are purchased and managed through Apple's App Store. Vire Run does not receive or store your payment details; Apple handles the transaction.Your Choices

Delete the app to remove all local data.

Remove iCloud copies via iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Vire Run.

Revoke location permission in iOS Settings to stop run tracking.
